Set against a breathtaking beachfront location, this hotel surprised me with its offerings, particularly the dining experience. The highlight of my stay was the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast-a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day on a satisfying note. The diverse options, including Western and Sri Lankan cuisines, showcased the richness of local flavors while maintaining high culinary standards. I delighted in a delicious Sri Lankan spread that reminded me of home. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, set in a spacious, fan-cooled area overlooking the pool, creating a relaxed dining atmosphere. The staff were notably friendly and accommodating; they provided fresh towels post-check-out, enabling us to savor a leisurely afternoon by the poolside. With ultra-clean facilities and a good Wi-Fi connection, I found Star Beach to be an excellent budget-friendly option. Its proximity to local eateries like Bolonghe's Restaurant and the VIBE allowed for further culinary exploration. The seamless airport access made it ideal for travelers flying in for a short gastronomic journey. Star Beach effectively blends comfort and culinary delight, making it a worthwhile choice for food enthusiasts.
